Is it my imagination, or is everyone in this AU just a wee bit more self-centered than they are in canon?
Maybe more obvious about it, but what canon says and wants us to think and what canon shows the characters doing aren't quite lined up; I find the characters pretty self-centered some of the time. But every writer puts their own spin on things, the same way every artist draws the same subject differently; I remember when I drew I'd invariably elongate faces.
