It's such a happy making thing when comments let you know that you succeeded in conveying what you wanted - authorial intent may be dead, but as a craft person it is important that you write as exactly what you mean as you can.

That was what I loved about SGA, especially early on. They weren't perfect, they didn't always win one hundred percent, but they always did their best. They cared.
