I enjoyed this story immensely. the way that Kim seemed so real and also a connvincing boyfriend for John. He totally got him. Loved how admirable Keller was, without becoming Mary Sueish of course - just a believable person that acted in a decent way. It made even more sense that way that Rodney wouldn't want to cheat on her. Poor, pining John is always a favourite of mine, but I loved how honourable he was too. Quite often, in canon and fic John and Rodney are portrayed as a emotionally immature, and I have no problem with that either if it is convincing! But seeing them as adults here was made their story more moving. Also - loved planet nowhere and the realism of how unlikely it would be that the food could nourish them!
